As you approach the Great Red Spot, our massive Jupiter will fill your viewport for hours. With a volume that could hold thirteen hundred Earths all bundled together, approach will feel similar to entering a Mandelbrot set as our shuttle takes you closer toward the swirling storms — the enormity of the gas god will engulf you, tricking your mind to think you are near your destination when you still remain miles from it. This helps when the in-laws visit, you can see them coming from a long way out. Once you arrive at the Jupiter Dome is Home site, Granny’s Mead, make sure not to leave the shuttle — you will experience 2.5 times Earth’s gravity, and our domes do not accommodate pancake-people.
All our habitats provide reliable shielding from Jupiter’s magnetic field which blasts the protective shell of our Domes with a radiation ten times stronger than that experienced on Earth.
Oxygen is included with utilities. Each habitat floats in the helium and hydrogen gas that the planet consists of — an almost distorted paisley pattern of clouds with ammonia crystals — and half of our community centers allow 360 views of the raging storm buffeting around the hovering domes.
